into
Kayce
Dutton’s
boots.
The
Yellowstone
actor—who
portrayed
the
son
of
Kevin
Costner‘s
John
Dutton
III—will
reprise
his
role
from
the
flagship
show
in
a
new
series
tentatively
titled
Y:
Marshalls,
CBS
has
announced.
“With
the
Yellowstone
Ranch
behind
him,
Dutton
joins
an
elite
unit
of
U.S.
Marshals,”
the
network
said
in
a
May
7
statement, “combining
his
skills
as
a
cowboy
and
Navy
SEAL
to
bring
range
justice
to
Montana,
where
he
and
his
teammates
must
balance
family,
duty
and
the
high
psychological
cost
that
comes
with
serving
as
the
last
line
of
defense
in
the
region’s
war
on
violence.”
The
new Yellowstone
spinoff—one
of
several
in
the
hit
franchise—is
set
to
premiere
on
CBS
in
the
2025-26
midseason
and
air
Sundays
at
9
p.m.
Grimes
and
franchise
creator Taylor
Sheridan
will
both
serve
as
executive
producers
along
with
several
others,
including
Spencer
Hudnut,
who
will
also
work
as
the
showrunner.
