“You
walk
through
the
front
and
they
have
a
nice
installation
at
the
front,”
she
shared.
“This
year
was
flowers,
but
also
a
men’s
gospel
choir—it
was
beautiful.
So,
you
walk
in
and
then
there’s
cocktail
hour
and
they
pass
out
hors
d’oeuvres,
they
pass
out
drinks.
Everybody’s
mingling,
talking,
you
loosen
up
a
little
bit.”
She
added,
“Then
you
go
into
the
main
room
where
there
is
dinner
served,
and
it’s
a
beautiful
dinner.
They
assign
your
seat.
They
like
to
mix
it
up
so
that
you
are
next
to
somebody
new,
so
you
can
have
a
new
conversation.
And
I’m
always
sitting
next
to
somebody
so
interesting,
so
cool.”
And
after
the
meal,
there
was
a
special
ending
to
the
event
led
by
co-chairs
A$AP,
Colman
Domingo,
Lewis
Hamilton,
Pharrell
Williams
and
Vogue’s
Anna
Wintour.
“Everybody
sits
down
and
all
of
the
[co-chairs]
come
out,”
Lizzo
said.
“They
give
a
speech
that
talks
about
the
theme
of
the
year.
And
it
was
really
beautiful
this
year.”
