More red carpet appearances aren’t on the horizon for Marlowe Sturridge.
After Sienna Miller‘s 14-year-old daughter made a surprise appearance at the world premiere for her upcoming series War in London, the American Sniper actress admitted that she “somewhat” regretted posing with her eldest—whom she shares with ex Tom Sturridge—on the red carpet.
“Marlowe didn’t actually walk the red carpet with me,” Miller clarified during the Sept. 23 episode of SiriusXM’s The Julia Cunningham Show. “She came with her friend. My mom was also there. And then there it was five seconds at the end where she came to give me a hug and totally mogged me.”
The rare mother-daughter outing ultimately went viral, leading some users to comment on the teen’s looks, which left the Horizon: An American Saga star “slightly concerned.”
“I somewhat regret it because I didn’t expect—and I don’t think she expected—that that would have the response that it got,” she explained, teasing, “I think I’m going to be sending her away to a nunnery for the next four years till she can emerge as an actual adult.”
