relationship
with
their
daughter

Teresa
Davis,
the

Teen
Mom
stars
were
offered
the
chance
to
listen
to
a

recording
of
the
16-year-old
singing.
But
now,
they
claim
the
olive
branch
came
with
conditions.

In
a
post
on

Instagram
May
22,
the
pair
wrote
that
Brandon
and
Teresa
“refused”
to
let
them
have
a
copy
of
the
song,
alleging
that
they
were
only
allowed
to
listen
to
the
tune
if
it
was
captured
on
camera.
As
they
explained,
hearing
Carly
sing
has
been
“emotionally
intense”
in
the
past,
which
made
them
want
“a
moment
to
listen
in
private.”

The
post
also
included
screenshots
of
a
letter
addressed
to
Brandon
and
Teresa—who
adopted
the
teen
after
her
birth
in
2009—in
which
Catelynn
and
Tyler
questioned
the
intention
behind
the
gesture
amid
the
ongoing
tension
between
the
two
families.

“You
get
upset
that
we
speak
about
our
adoption
story
publicly,”
the
couple
wrote
in
the
letter
shared
on

Instagram
May
22,
“but
simultaneously
want
us
to
share
a
very
personal
song
regarding
our
adoption
story
nationally
on
television
for
the
whole
world.”
