And
while
accepting
the
honor,
Foster
made
sure
to
thank
her
wife
of
10
years,
Alexandra
Hedison,
for
being
by
her
side,
as
well
as
her
kids
Kit
Bernard
Foster,
22,
and
Charles
Bernard
Foster,
26,
who
she
shares
with
ex Cydney
Bernard.
The
61-year-old
began
her
Emmys
speech
by
honoring
the
Iñupiat
and
Inuit people
of
northern
Alaska, “who
just
they
just
told
us
their
stories,”
Foster
explained. “They
allowed
us
to
listen
and
that
was
just
a
blessing.
It
was
love,
love,
love.
And
when
you
feel
that,
something
amazing
happens.
It’s
deep
and
wonderful
and
it’s
older
than
this
place
in
this
time.”
