just
always
so
supportive,”
she explained, “and
it’s
just
another
thing
for
them
to
come
together
and
be
a
family.
They
did
it
with
Bob
and
now
they’ll
do
it
with
Dave
to
support
him.”
As
for
Dave,
the
65-year-old
had
previously
shared
that
he
was
diagnosed
with “a
very
aggressive
type
of
lymphoma,”
explaining
that
he
had
learned
about
the
development
of
his
lymph
nodes
only
five
weeks
before speaking
out
about
his
battle.
“In
that
time,
I’ve
had
three
surgeries,
I’ve
had
chemo,
I’ve
lost
a
little
bit
of
hair,”
he
told Today‘s Hoda
Kotb on
Nov.
13. “I
kind
of
look
like
a
little
baby
bird
now,
but
it
has
been
a
roller
coaster
ride
for
sure.”
