Crüe

singer
was
not
on
board
at
the
time,
but
the
pilot
was
tragically
killed,
according
to
a
statement
from
the
band
on
X
(formerly
Twitter
).

The
co-pilot
and
the
two
passengers—Vince’s
girlfriend
and
her
friend—were
hospitalized,
with
the
passengers’
injuries
described
as “not
life
threatening.” 

First
responders
confirmed
one
person
was
dead
on
arrival
and
four
others
were
injured
in
total,
Scottsdale
Fire
Captain
Dave
Folio
said,
per

News
.
Of
those
injured,
two
people
were
taken
to
medical
centers
in
critical
condition.

Neil’s
lawyer
said
his Learjet
aircraft
model
35A “veered
from
the
runway
causing
it
to
collide”
with
the
other
aircraft
for “reasons
unknown
at
this
time.”
